Automatic payment collection: get paid on time without chasing customers

One of the least pleasant parts of running a business is asking for money. Sending another reminder, calling, feeling awkward. Automatic collection takes that out of your hands: the customer gets a payment request and reminders on time, and you see who has paid.
How automatic collection works
- Payment request: the moment a deal closes, the customer gets a secure payment link on WhatsApp or by email.
- Mobile payment: the customer pays by card in a few taps, without reading card details over the phone.
- Reminders: if it isn't paid, reminders go out on a schedule you set.
- Automatic document: after payment a receipt or invoice is issued and recorded in your bookkeeping.
Why it works better than manual collection
- On time: the request goes out right away, while the customer is still happy with the deal.
- No awkwardness: the reminder comes from the system, not from you, and the relationship stays good.
- Nothing forgotten: no invoice stays open because someone forgot to follow it up.
- A clear picture: at any moment you see how much money is pending, from whom and since when.
Direct debit for subscriptions
For businesses with regular customers, such as subscriptions, retainers or lessons, direct debit removes the monthly request altogether. The charge goes out on its own and the receipt is sent automatically.
Why collections should sit with everything else
Collections in a separate tool don't know what was agreed with the customer. When they are part of an operating system for your business, the amount comes straight from the quote, the payment is recorded on the customer card, and even the AI agent can send a payment link at the end of a WhatsApp conversation.
Collections in E26
E26 has invoices, payments and collections in one system, connected to the bookkeeping tools you already use. See pricing or book an intro meeting.
